My Story

Mac Photo Booth image of Dennis SheridanI've lived in Louisville, Ky my entire life. After earning my bachelor's in Philosophy from Bellarmine University, I left my always-interesting gig at a local comic book shop to weather the humility-building tasks presented as a Desktop Support Technician - where I learned the ways of web standards during downtime.

My technological ambitions were briefly abandoned when my wife and I opened a successful knitting store which became a full-time job. Simultaneously, my band signed an independent record deal and opened the possibility of a career in music. Fortunately for our family, we were able to grow the store enough to sell to new owners and my album sales at that time did not render the lucrative profits I had once idealized. (My music recently found a more loving home, anyway.)

I returned to the work force to build my career as a web professional. I've grown through multiple positions acting as a Content Coordinator, Designer, and Developer. I'm currently a proud member of the Indiana University Southeast Media Services team where I reside as their Web Developer.

I've had the privilege of writing code and/or creating web designs for brands such as Hilliard Lyons, Republic Bank, The Kentucky Derby Museum, Sun Tan City, Maker's Mark, Heaven Hill, Hpnotiq, Pama Liqueur, Brinly Lawn Care Products, Mercer Trucking, The Louisville Science Center and several others. Creative problem solving is what I like doing. I work everyday to extend my abilities: as a designer, a developer, an object-oriented programmer, a husband, a father and a human being. Thank you for stopping by and check out my recent work if you have a few moments.
